This beautiful mineral specimen features a lustrous black, angularly grown schorl tourmaline crystal. The schorl is artfully intergrown with white-beige orthoclase crystals and exciting hyalite crystals. The luminescent properties of the hyalite crystals are particularly spectacular, glowing a brilliant neon yellow under UV light.
The specimen measures 39 * 37 * 26 mm and weighs 38 g. It comes from the Erongo region of Namibia, a well-known location for the extraction of rare minerals.
